The hotel is named after the great Mongol ruler Kublai Khan (1215-1294), grandson of Genghis Khan. Kublai Khan founded and became the first emperor of the Yuan Dynasty.
The Great Silk Road has linked cultures and destinies of peoples for centuries. One of the most striking pages of this story was the meeting of the Venetian merchant Marco Polo and the Mongol ruler Kublai Khan, the grandson of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Yuan Dynasty. Their relationship, built on curiosity, respect, and knowledge sharing, inspired us to create the Kublai Hotel. This is not just a place to relax, but a real journey through time, where each design element tells its own part of a great story.
